Aging is not a disease, although many people think it is. The good news is that premature aging doesn’t have to happen. While no magic elixir exists to reverse the process, research has shown that certain nutrients can help to slow the onset of visible signs of aging, can prevent many disorders, and can extend life expectancy.

Aging Juicing Recipes

* Beauty Fountain

small handful of parsley, handful of spinach, 5 carrots with greens removed, and 1/2 apple.

* Silky Complexion

2 slices pineapple with skin, 1/2 cucumber, and 1/2 apple with seeds.

 

* Facial Express

1/2 cantaloupe with skin

 

* Green Machine

3 broccoli buds, 1 garlic clove, 4 carrots with greens removed, 1 tomato, 2 stalks celery, 1/2 green pepper.

Craving Chocolate Anyone?

We all love chocolate. The way it so deliciously melts in our mouths and instantly takes us to that special place…YOU KNOW THAT PLACE! But there are those who consistently crave chocolate on a daily basis….does this ring home for any of you guys? Getting rid of cravings means getting the root cause of those food urges. Just because you are craving chocolate does not mean this is what your body needs biochemically. Chances are very strong that your body needs something more of nutritional value. So the next time, before you even think of reaching for those candy bars that were so glamorously advertised in aisle 3 opt for something like fruits or veggies or a big glass of nicely pressed juice!

BIG TIP OF THE DAY * people who crave sweets and chocolates usually need a dose of chromium.

Foods containing chromium are apples, oysters, chicken, green peppers, potatoes, brewer’s yeast, and whole wheat

Beneficial Juices are green pepper, apple, spinach, and carrot. * POP THAT JUICER OUT GUYS!

You can also supplement with chromium drops 2-3 drops per day

Allergy Season!

So you got allergies ay? Sucks sometimes doesn’t it? Well I have two juicing recipes that will get you back in the game. Remember you have to stick to it so that it works. This is just some general detail but I have a e- book coming out soon, that will really knock your socks off! It will be more instructive and full of very beneficial information.

Lets start here! 

this is what you will need: small handful of spinach, 1 garlic clove, 4-5 carrots with greens removed, 4 cauliflower buds. 

it may not be the best tasting but who says shot glasses were only made for alcohol 

2nd – Small handful of spinach, 4-5 carrots with greens removed, 3-4 asparagus spears.

ACNE! What acne?

ACNE. So you wake up in the morning and realize you’re breaking out. You know you have to work today or hang with your beautiful pimple free friends. Here you are in the mirror wishing you can march into work with a bag placed over your head or possibly reach for the largest sunglasses you own. “Some protection is better than no protection” you think to yourself. You find yourself squinting thinking that maybe the horror on your face will disappear. After that long sigh and the realization that you still must face the world, you do your best in trying to cover it up. Maybe make-up? Maybe you will compensate by telling a few extra jokes today? 

Well maybe I can give you a glimmer of hope 🙂 . This will not immediately zap the zits from your face but you could see some type of results in a few days. Try to sport your smile in the meantime!!!!!!

Try something I call the Acne Chaser! Hint*  it’s a drink

What you will need : 2 slices pineapple, with skin, 1/2 cucumber and 1/2 apple, seeded. 

push through juicer and you are ready.

* try to drink at least twice a day for a week, kick- start your breakfast with it.

Obesity Juicing Recipe

Obesity is the excess of body fat. Anyone who is 20 percent over the normal weight for his or her age is considered obese. Many people of which suffer from this condition. Yes, I call it an condition because so many factors come into play when dealing with obesity. I have personally suffered from it myself. I have discovered a great juicing recipe that substitutes 1 meal a day. You can choose to do it for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or snack. I prefer snack time. The details are below and please if you have any feedback or more to add, please comment below. I also would love to hear about other juicing recipes if you have any.

Kimberly’s Cleansing Cocktail

1/4 -inch slice ginger root
1 beet
1/2 apple, seeded
4 carrots, greens removed

* Push ginger, beet, and apple through hopper with carrots. You can also try to add spinach for more boosting power.

Extra: May give you a splash of energy……go walking, ride a bike, or do some house work!
